**Job title:** Product Owner
**Role Summary:** Lead enterprise‑scale IT and cybersecurity initiatives within a SAFe environment. Own product vision, backlog, and delivery for secure, cloud‑based platforms, collaborating with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to ensure alignment with business, regulatory, and operational goals.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑impact, secure, and scalable solutions in a large, matrixed organization.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, program planning, and risk mitigation for complex, regulated environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Product Ownership & Strategy** – Define and own product vision, roadmap, epics, features, and user stories; prioritize backlog by business value, risk, and architectural alignment.
2. **Agile Delivery** – Act as Product Owner for Release Trains; lead PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives; coordinate dependencies across teams.
3. **Stakeholder & Program Leadership** – Partner with senior IT, cybersecurity, networking, and business leaders; contribute to program roadmaps, sequencing, and risk management; communicate progress, risks, and outcomes via metrics and dashboards.
4. **Service & Operational Alignment** – Apply ITIL principles for operational readiness; balance feature development with technical debt, reliability, and operational excellence; collaborate with ops and support for smooth production transitions.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years in Product Owner/Manager roles, SAFe and Agile engineering environments.
- Strong backlog management in Jira & Confluence, proficiency in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
- Knowledge of ITIL Foundation, project management (scope, risk, dependency).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
- Domain expertise in proxy/secure web gateway solutions, Cloud‑SaaS security platforms, Zero‑Trust architecture, and large‑scale cyber‑security program planning in regulated global organizations.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) – mandatory.
- ITIL® 4 Foundation, with ITIL® 4 Managing Professional preferred.
- Agile product ownership certifications: POPM, CSPO/PSPO I‑II, CSM/PSM I‑II.
- SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) and SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) – beneficial.
