Job Description: Job Title: Area Retail Sales Manager Role Summary: Senior regional leader responsible for managing 30+ stores and 100 staff across West Scotland, driving sales growth, operational performance, budget control, compliance, and team development. Expectations: Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets; maintain high operational and regulatory standards; deliver insightful financial and operational reports; foster continuous improvement and staff engagement; ensure efficient use of resources. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, coach, and develop Cluster and Store Managers to achieve commercial success. - Design and implement region‑specific sales strategies aligned with corporate goals. - Manage the regional budget, monitor cost‑effectiveness, and report financial performance. - Analyze monthly sales data and operational metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities. - Drive operational efficiency through process optimization and best‑practice implementation. - Enforce company standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. - Prepare and present operational and financial dashboards to senior leadership. Required Skills: - Minimum 3 years of multi‑site retail leadership experience managing large teams. - Strong sales acumen with proven ability to influence and make commercial decisions. - Inspiring leadership style focused on team development and engagement. - Excellent analytical, operational, and problem‑solving skills. - Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, customer‑focused retail environment. - Valid driver’s licence for regional travel. Required Education & Certifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred. - Relevant retail management or financial certification (e.g., Certified Retail Manager, CPA) is an advantage.
