Job Description

Job title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Engineer) Role Summary: Lead QA initiatives for a fast‑moving enterprise platform, driving test framework enhancement, coverage expansion, and product quality improvement through manual and automated testing across desktop and web applications. Expectations: - Analytical thinker with meticulous attention to detail. - Proactive, organized, and deadline‑oriented with a “can‑do” mindset. - Clear written and spoken English. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse functional and non‑functional requirements; author and maintain clear test cases. - Design, develop, and execute automated test suites for desktop and web features. - Write and run moderate‑complex SQL queries and perform basic database management (MSSQL). - Collaborate with Development and Support teams to refine test processes and frameworks. - Participate in test planning, defect tracking, and regression testing. Required Skills: - Proficient in Python; knowledge of JavaScript, PowerShell, or Batch scripts is a plus. - Experience in desktop/web test automation (e.g., TestComplete, Selenium). - Familiarity with REST API testing and web application testing. - Strong knowledge of Windows operating system. - Basic database skills, including SQL query writing. - Comfortable with version control (Bitbucket/Git), issue tracking (Jira), and documentation tools (Confluence). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). - No mandatory certifications, but experience with QA tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, TDD) is highly valued.
