Job Description
Job Title: Software Integration Engineer Role Summary Brings together complex automotive software from multiple internal teams and external partners into a unified software stack for deployment across vehicle lines. Designs, implements, and maintains CI/CD pipelines, conducts integration testing on ECUs and vehicle networks, and collaborates with global software teams to deliver stable releases. Expectations - Integrate diverse software modules (AUTOSAR and POSIX) into a cohesive vehicle‑level stack. - Build and maintain automated build, integration, and testing pipelines for multiple variants. - Perform integration debugging on ECUs using industry tools and protocols. - Work collaboratively with teams worldwide to meet release milestones. - Validate integrated software on test benches and in‑vehicle environments. Key Responsibilities - Merge software components from internal, partner, and supplier sources into a single stack. - Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) supporting builds across vehicle variants. - Execute integration testing and debugging across ECUs and networks (CAN, Ethernet, LIN). - Coordinate with global teams to resolve integration issues and schedule releases. - Support vehicle‑level integration/validation using test benches and on‑board diagnostics. Required Skills - Hands‑on automotive embedded software integration or development. - Proficiency with AUTOSAR and POSIX environments. - Experience debugging embedded targets with Trace32, GDB, CANOE, CANAPE, or CANalyzer. - In‑depth knowledge of automotive diagnostics and communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet). - Strong Git workflow and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Excellent problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication abilities. - Solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle and quality engineering methods. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required, though familiarity with automotive software standards is advantageous.
