Job Description

**Job Title** Market Finance Application Support Consultant **Role Summary** Provide day‑to‑day functional and technical support for front‑ and middle‑office users of a banking client’s front‑end and middle‑office platform. Diagnose issues, propose solutions, manage production changes, collect user requirements, and collaborate with development, trading, and production teams to enhance the booking platform. **Expectations** - Deliver reliable, timely support to maintain business continuity. - Act as the primary liaison between trading, middle office, development, and production. - Proactively contribute to platform improvements, migration projects, and automation initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Resolve user issues related to usage or availability of front‑ and middle‑office tools. - Analyze incidents, propose immediate solutions, and ensure business continuity. - Gather user requirements and coordinate with development for enhancements. - Execute and monitor daily production deployments, configuration changes, and application uptime. - Support technical and functional migrations and continuous improvement of the booking platform. - Manage incidents and post‑production support for front‑to‑back and regulatory projects. - Maintain and support scripting used in platform operations. - Mentor or pilot improvement initiatives for support automation based on deep technical insights. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in front‑ or middle‑office application support. - Strong understanding of financial instruments and trading processes. - Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues. - Familiarity with production change procedures, incident management, and migration workflows. - Proficient in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Shell). - Excellent communication skills in French and English; good command of English required. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Professional certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory.
