**Job Title:** Crew Onboarding Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Manage end‑to‑end onboarding for marine‑category crew members, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and customer‑focused experience. Act as the primary liaison among internal teams and external partners, maintain accurate records, generate status reports, and meet defined performance targets.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver timely, accurate onboarding support meeting internal service level agreements.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, international, and company policies.
- Produce weekly and monthly status reports for stakeholders.
- Achieve or exceed established performance metrics (e.g., onboarding cycle time, stakeholder satisfaction).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide front‑line assistance to marine crew members throughout onboarding.
- Coordinate with Talent Attraction, Crew Assist, Scheduling, Visa, Port Agents, and other functions to secure hires and schedule arrivals.
- Advise Operations Representatives on visa, medical, and STCW requirements for shipboard roles.
- Resolve onboarding issues proactively; escalate irregularities to the Operations Supervisor as needed.
- Execute all administrative onboarding tasks (document collection, data entry, compliance checks).
- Prepare and distribute status, analysis, and talent‑pool reports to stakeholders.
- Organize monthly governance meetings with Recruitment, Scheduling, Mobility Centers, HR Onboard, and other stakeholders.
- Support fellow Operations Specialists and back‑fill as required.
- Participate in special projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
**Required Skills:**

- Stakeholder management and customer‑service orientation.
- Knowledge of maritime regulatory, visa, medical, and STCW compliance.
- Analytical/reporting proficiency (status reports, data analysis).
- Problem‑solving mindset with ability to work under pressure.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years experience in onboarding, recruitment, or related HR operations.
- No specific certifications required.
