**Job Title:** People Ops Team Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead a team of at least five People Ops individual contributors to execute and continuously improve core HR processes—onboarding, HRIS administration, employee data changes, benefits, payroll inputs, compliance, and reporting—while partnering with Talent Acquisition, Finance/Payroll, Legal, IT, and HR Business Partners. Deliver high‑quality, timely service levels, ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiencies across the employee lifecycle.
**Expectations:**
- Own SLA and quality metrics for daily People Ops functions.
- Maintain and elevate data accuracy in the HRIS and sustain audit‑ready documentation.
- Foster a high‑performance culture through coaching, regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and growth planning.
- Lead process simplification, SOP standardization, and cycle‑time reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate cross‑functional projects, change management, and system implementations.
- Deliver clear, timely status updates and risk mitigation to stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Team Leadership:** Hire, onboard, coach, and supervise ICs; set clear expectations; conduct performance rituals; rebalance workloads; remove blockers.
- **Operational Oversight:** Plan and allocate daily tasks; monitor dashboards, queues, and tickets; ensure continuous operation during peaks, audits, and organizational changes.
- **Process Execution & Improvement:** Own and execute end‑to‑end People Ops processes (onboarding, benefits, leave management, employee data changes, payroll cut‑offs); guarantee compliance, data quality, and proper documentation.
- **Stakeholder Coordination:** Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance/Payroll, Legal, IT, and HR Business Partners on cross‑functional deliveries (policy rollouts, system changes, payroll dates).
- **Reporting & Controls:** Maintain the HRIS source of truth; produce and review People Ops dashboards and reports; contribute inputs to payroll and headcount reporting.
- **Compliance & Audit Readiness:** Ensure adherence to internal controls and labor/data‑privacy regulations; prepare for external audits.
- **Change Management:** Drive adoption of new tools, policies, and operating models; facilitate smooth transitions with clear communication and training.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years of People Ops/HR Operations experience in a fast‑growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR).
- Expertise in onboarding, benefits administration, employee data management, payroll alignment, and compliance.
- Process improvement skills (Lean, Six Sigma concepts) with a record of SOP standardization and cycle‑time reduction.
- Leadership and coaching ability; effective performance management.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, project coordination, and risk‑mitigation.
- Analytical mindset; ability to build and interpret HR metrics and dashboards.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferred HR certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus).
