Job Description
Job title: Intern – Automated Test Developer Role Summary: Work within an R&D software engineering team to support and extend a group‑wide Python-based test tooling library. Design module architecture, code and document components in Python (and Lua), write unit and integration tests, and integrate them into continuous‑integration pipelines. Expectations: - Final‑year engineering student or Master’s candidate (M2) in computer science or embedded systems. - Internship term 4–6 months, starting 2026 Q1–Q2. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and evolve Python test‑tool library, ensuring superior instrumentation for automated test benches. - Design internal architecture (UML, Sphinx documentation, sequence diagrams). - Code modules in Python and Lua. - Develop and run unit tests, software verification tests, and continuous‑integration builds in Jenkins. - Update and experiment with development environment tools. Required Skills: - Strong Python programming (OOP). - Familiarity with Lua, Git, and CI tools (Jenkins). - Experience in real‑time systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar). - Knowledge of software testing principles. - B2 English proficiency. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s/engineering diploma, or Master’s (M2) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Embedded Systems. - No specific certifications required.
