Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Business Analyst to support enterprise‑scale data platform (Snowflake) delivery. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to convert business needs into platform features, user stories, and technical specifications. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data quality, and regulatory compliance. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality business and technical documentation. - Facilitate requirement gathering, process mapping, and data flow design. - Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. - Provide analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for solution options. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather, elicit, and document functional, business, and technical requirements. - Create process maps, data flow diagrams, use cases, task/workflow analyses. - Identify and recommend process and performance improvements. - Prepare business cases, solution options, and gap analyses. - Present findings to stakeholders, governance groups, and project sponsors. - Support procurement activities through requirement documentation. - Ensure metadata management, data quality, and compliance with data privacy standards. - Collaborate with BI, Data Engineering, and Service Owner teams to refine service proposals. - Contribute to methodology improvement and peer review activities. **Required Skills:** - Business Analysis in large‑scale data environments. - Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and facilitation skills. - Ability to create UML, BPMN diagrams and detailed documentation. - Experience across the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems). - Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are a plus.
