Job Description
**Job Title** Electrical Design Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and validate electrical systems for industrial automation and machinery. Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams in EPLAN, ensuring compliance with CE, UL, ISO, and IEC safety standards. Collaborate with mechanical and software teams, perform risk assessments, and support production and commissioning phases. **Expectations** - Minimum 3‑5 years of electrical design experience for industrial machinery. - Proficiency in EPLAN Electric and related design tools. - In‑depth knowledge of CE marking, UL standards, IEC 60204‑1, ISO 13849, ISO 12100, EN 62061. - Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and communication skills. - Fluent in English and willing to travel occasionally. **Key Responsibilities** - Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN. - Ensure designs meet CE marking, UL, and other regulatory requirements. - Integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components. - Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures per ISO 12100, ISO 13849, etc. - Draft and maintain technical documentation (BOMs, wiring lists, test procedures). - Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during manufacturing and commissioning. - Keep current with best practices, safety standards, and regulatory changes. - Apply CMSE principles for functional safety and risk mitigation. - Coordinate with supply chain and operations on electrical parts selection and specification. **Required Skills** - EPLAN Electric proficiency. - Knowledge of CE/UL and IEC/ISO safety standards. - Risk assessment and functional safety expertise. - Electrical system documentation and BOM management. - Cross‑functional collaboration and project coordination. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. - Fluency in English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Demonstrated experience with CE/UL compliance and functional safety standards.
