Job Description
Job Title: Workday Configuration Support (12‑month Fixed Term) Role Summary Senior Workday HCM and module configuration specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Workday solutions for global clients. Leads configuration work, workshop facilitation, and maintenance activities while driving SOX compliance and agile delivery across the full implementation lifecycle. Expectations Deliver high‑quality configuration, documentation, and training for Workday HCM and at least one additional module. Act as a subject‑matter expert and liaison between HR, IT, and business stakeholders. Participate in all project phases: design, architecture, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support. Ensure alignment with agile practices and SOX audit requirements. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop Workday configurations (data structures, business processes, security roles, module‑specific settings). - Conduct implementation and design workshops, driving stakeholder alignment and feature prioritization. - Draft and execute test scripts; coordinate with adjacent tools for testing. - Manage EIB data loading strategies for roll‑outs and BAU mass‑data initiatives. - Build and maintain Workday reports in line with business needs and data strategy. - Oversee cyclical Tenant Maintenance and Workday update processes, delivering system enhancements. - Maintain SOX audit compliance and raise risks per established processes. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, influence decisions, and provide technical guidance throughout implementation phases. Required Skills - Deep knowledge of Workday HCM and at least one other Workday module (e.g., Recruiting, Payroll, Time Tracking). - Proven experience deploying Workday via service partner or managing BAU/optimization projects with live customers. - End‑to‑end implementation experience (Design, Architecture, Test, Deploy). - Strong configuration design and development skills. - Ability to write and manage test scripts and EIB processes. - Experience building reports and data strategy within Workday. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and estimating feature work. - Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and presentation skills. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. - Workday HCM Certification (or equivalent); additional module certifications preferred.
