Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain secure, high‑performance SDKs and backend services for payment device integration. Lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with security standards while contributing to CI/CD and deployment processes. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, scalable code across backend (C#/.NET) and mobile SDKs (Android/iOS). - Own complex problem resolution and influence system architecture. - Participate in on‑call rotation after onboarding. - Collaborate with product, QA, and operations to meet release goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement SDKs and backend components for payment processing. - Lead design and architecture discussions for both server‑side and mobile platforms. - Write, review, and maintain clean, efficient, and well‑documented code. - Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers; share best practices. - Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments. - Ensure code complies with PCI, OWASP, and other security standards. - Diagnose and resolve performance issues in services and SDKs. - Contribute to cross‑team initiatives such as SDK standardization and shared libraries. **Required Skills:** - ≥5 years of commercial software development experience. - Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET (preferred) or Java; strong OOP and architectural skills. - Experience with mobile SDK development (Android Java/Kotlin or iOS Objective‑C/Swift). - Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and design patterns. - Proficient with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and query optimization. - Strong knowledge of security best practices (OWASP Top Ten, PCI, SOC 2, HIPAA). - Networking fundamentals: sockets, HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS. - Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams. - Proven mentorship and technical leadership abilities. - Excellent communication for both technical and non‑technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. - Relevant security or industry certifications (e.g., PCI‑DSS, OWASP) are a plus.
