Job Description
Job title: Head of Quality (12‑Month FTC) Role Summary: Lead the establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of VoCoVo’s Quality Management System across all hardware and software products, driving uptime >99.5% and reducing warranty/contract costs to <1% of revenue. Manage end‑to‑end quality processes, audits, regulatory compliance, and a high‑performance quality team. Expectations: • Deliver world‑class uptime and cost targets. • Build and sustain a mature QMS, quality scorecards, and traceability. • Influence cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners. • Develop team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities - Define quality objectives, KPIs, and performance indicators across the product lifecycle. - Design, launch and maintain a QMS covering hardware, software, supply chain, and customer support. - Lead quality assurance activities: testing, inspections, RMA, uptime monitoring, and root‑cause analysis. - Plan and execute internal audits; coordinate external audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections (ISO, GDPR, industry directives). - Build and manage a high‑performing quality team; provide coaching, training, and performance feedback. - Develop and maintain quality scorecards, traceability systems, and reporting to executive leadership. - Drive quality improvement initiatives, cost‑reduction programs, and innovation in testing/automation. - Foster relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders; manage RMA processes and supplier quality improvements. Required Skills - Proven quality leadership in hardware and software domains. - Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and test management tools. - Experience with internal and outsourced QA, test automation, and AQL supply‑chain quality. - Expertise in QMS implementation, quality metrics, audit management, and regulatory compliance (ISO, GDPR). - Strong analytical, root‑cause, and corrective action skills. - Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to build, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or related field. - Professional certifications such as Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent QA/QMS credentials preferred.
