**Job title:** Junior Data Scientist
**Role Summary:**
Support the Enterprise AI team by designing, training, evaluating, and deploying machine‑learning models on structured and unstructured data. Collaborate with senior scientists, engineering, and business partners to translate analytic insights into actionable recommendations, and contribute to the organization’s AI portfolio growth.
**Expectations:**

- Works effectively in agile, cross‑functional environments and communicates findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, train, validate, and document statistical and ML models.
- Perform end‑to‑end data preparation: cleaning, feature engineering, exploratory analysis.
- Build reproducible code, notebooks, and ML pipelines; support model deployment workflows.
- Analyze structured/unstructured datasets from internal and external sources.
- Partner with data platform, engineering, and architecture teams on data quality and availability.
- Conduct literature reviews, benchmark studies, and prototype new algorithms.
- Translate technical findings into clear visualizations, summaries, and business recommendations.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and model reviews.
- Follow responsible AI, data privacy, and model monitoring best practices.
- Share knowledge through internal workshops and documentation.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficient in Python; strong command of NumPy, Pandas, scikit‑learn, and other common libraries.
- Experience designing, training, and evaluating ML models.
- Solid data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and feature engineering abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication; able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem‑solving mindset; eagerness to learn new techniques.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and collaboration tools.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- (Optional) Master’s degree in a related field.
- Certifications in data science, ML, or cloud platforms preferred but not mandatory.
