Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Business Development Associate – Automation & Control **Role Summary:** Drive strategic growth by identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective customers and suppliers, building a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, and collaborating across Marketing, Sales, Category Management, and Product Development to execute business development initiatives. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate, data‑driven pipeline analyses and regular reporting to senior management. - Produce high‑quality business cases, financial models, and strategic proposals that support revenue targets and partnership opportunities. - Manage multiple, medium‑to‑large projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities. - Travel up to 25 % of the time to engage with customers and partners. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with business unit leaders and cross‑functional teams to source, qualify, and convert leads into viable opportunities. - Validate and maintain qualitative and quantitative pipeline data, ensuring transparency for leadership. - Develop and apply analytical tools to assess revenue potential, conversion likelihood, costs, risks, and benefits for client proposals. - Create and distribute monthly business development performance reports. - Standardize data collection on company profiles, financial metrics, and strategic fit for acquisitions or joint‑venture candidates. - Lead the development of complex financial models and proposals for the sales organization. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align critical acquisition and client development activities. - Facilitate meetings, deliver detailed deliverables, and support project implementation. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and strong computer literacy. - Deep analytical expertise in finance and accounting, including financial statement analysis and financial modeling. - Experience evaluating acquisitions, conducting due diligence, and integration planning. - Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi‑project management abilities. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) across all organizational levels. - Ability to work autonomously, solve complex problems, and make decisions within delegated authority. - Adaptability to changing priorities, pressure, and tight deadlines. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant field such as Business, Finance, Engineering, or related). - Minimum 4–5 years of experience in financial services, business development, or a comparable role.
