**Job title:** Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) – Medical Device Software
**Role summary:** Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling for regulated medical device software on AWS, ensuring compliance with IEC 62304, FDA guidance, and internal quality controls.
**Expectations:** Deliver robust, automated release processes; manage lifecycle integrations (Jira, Polarion, TestRail); create dashboards and reports; drive continuous improvement; collaborate across cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.
**Key responsibilities:**
- Architect and build scalable CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment on AWS.
- Automate workflow integrations across Jira, Polarion, Matrix, and TestRail; generate test protocols and reports.
- Develop monitoring dashboards (product quality, build health, deployment progress).
- Identify and implement process, infrastructure, and tooling enhancements.
- Ensure documentation and automation meet IEC 62304 and FDA documentation standards.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and regulatory teams for compliance‑ready deployments.
- Maintain and evolve infrastructure-as‑code and automation scripts.
**Required skills:**
- 4+ years in software verification or Master’s + 2 years relevant experience.
- Proficient in Python, C++/C#, Bash/Shell scripting; Azure/AWS services (code pipeline, ECR, Lambda, ECS).
- Experience with Git, HTML, Flask, Nginx, Jira, Polarion, TestRail, and API integrations.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with Agile practices and DevOps culture.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
**Required education & certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Verification experience meeting IEC 62304 and FDA guidelines; certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are advantageous.
