**Job Title:** Functional Analyst – Commercial Channels & Products
**Role Summary:**
Business/Functional Analyst within the Commercial Channels & Products domain, supporting the digital ecosystem for a national railway’s marketing and sales (website, mobile app, ticketing kiosks, cash desks, onboard sales, B2B platforms). Involved in the full project lifecycle—requirements gathering, feasibility analysis, functional design, testing, and delivery—to enhance customer experience and drive business value.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 7 years experience as a Business/Functional Analyst.
- 5 + years working with BPMN/UML in SAFe/Agile environments.
- Fluent in French or Dutch **and** English.
- Proven ability to lead stakeholder discussions, manage ambiguity, and deliver clear functional documentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze, document, and model business needs, processes, and objectives.
- Convert requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
- Support test planning, coordinate UAT execution, and manage defect resolution.
- Guard solution architecture; work with architects to maintain design integrity.
- Identify process bottlenecks, propose and champion improvements.
- Present functional designs, test scenarios, and documentation to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
**Required Skills:**

- Advanced business analysis and requirements‑gathering techniques.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, system design principles, and Agile/SAFe frameworks.
- Proficiency with BPMN/UML modeling tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and basic programming concepts.
- Experience in public transport, e‑commerce, or mobile/web development (Sitecore a plus).
