Technical AI Platform Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, deployment, and evolution of a resilient, scalable AI platform focused on generative and agentic models. Drive platform strategy and architecture, collaborate with product, R&D, and architecture teams, and ensure secure, high‑performance infrastructure on GCP and AWS.
**Expectations**
- Deliver expertise in cloud infrastructure, IaC, and MLOps/LLMOps.
- Mentor a platform engineering team and enforce security‑first, code‑quality standards.
- Maintain operational excellence through observability, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Engage with third‑party vendors, scout emerging technologies, and influence product roadmaps.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and evolve the technical roadmap for the generative/agentic AI platform.
- Architect and implement cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS using Terraform, Argo CD, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Establish MLOps/LLMOps processes, including model deployment pipelines, monitoring, and governance.
- Drive CI/CD best practices, code reviews, and toolchain integration.
- Ensure platform resilience, security, and compliance through vigilant observability and configuration management.
- Mentor and coach platform engineers, promoting engineering excellence and security awareness.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, evaluate new tools, and align procurations with corporate strategy.
- Collaborate with data, AI, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
**Required Skills**
- Deep experience with Terraform, Argo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and Git.
- Proficient in cloud architecture on GCP and AWS (compute, storage, networking, AI/ML services).
- Strong background in MLOps and LLMOps, including model lifecycle management and deployment.
- Familiarity with data platform, BI, and integration concepts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Security‑first mindset and adherence to best practices (identity, access, encryption).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field.
- Relevant certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Terraform Certified Associate, or equivalent.
