Job Title: Salesforce Platform Architect
Role Summary: Own the technical vision and architecture of a global, integrated Salesforce platform, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance while guiding development, administration, and solution teams.
Expectations:
- Lead architectural governance, roadmap, and best‑practice enforcement.
- Mentor technical teams and align all initiatives with strategic platform goals.
- Maintain platform health, performance, and secure data handling.
- Drive innovation by evaluating new Salesforce technologies and AppExchange solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document architectural roadmap, standards, and governance framework for the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, Field Service Management, Integration Cloud).
- Provide high‑level technical guidance to developers, admins, and solution architects.
- Design scalable, secure enterprise data models, integration patterns, API strategies, and security models.
- Monitor platform health, governor limits, data volumes, and mitigate technical debt.
- Govern application lifecycle: environment strategy, release management, testing frameworks.
- Engage stakeholders to translate business objectives into platform capabilities and evaluate new technologies.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, and integration technologies (APIs, MuleSoft).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Platform governor limits, best practices, and security models.
- Experience designing secure data models and integration solutions for large data volumes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Full written and verbal English fluency; French is a plus.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience **or** Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Salesforce development and architecture in complex, global environments.
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I (required); Application Architect, System Architect, or Data Architecture & Management Designer (preferred); Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (major plus).
