Job title: Performance Marketing Specialist (Google Ads, Meta) Role Summary: Drive traffic and user acquisition for a startup freelancer marketplace by managing paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Meta) and organic SEO. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create compelling ad copy, optimize landing pages, and refine keyword strategy to achieve cost‑effective user sign‑ups and sustain organic growth. Expectations: - Deliver measurable improvements in traffic, conversions, and CAC within a fast‑paced launch environment. - Report weekly performance insights and actionable optimizations to the Marketing Manager. - Maintain alignment between PPC, social, email, and product teams for cohesive brand messaging. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, launch, and optimize Google Ads and Meta PPC campaigns targeting freelance‑service keywords. - Craft persuasive ad copy and coordinate with UX/UI to enhance landing‑page CTR and conversion rates. - Implement and monitor retargeting efforts to re‑engage non‑converted visitors. - Conduct comprehensive keyword research; optimize on‑page SEO (meta tags, headers, content structure). - Develop and execute a backlink acquisition strategy targeting industry blogs and directories. - Analyze campaign and website performance with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs; adjust bids, keywords, and creative assets accordingly. - Collaborate with Social Media, Email Marketing, and product teams to ensure integrated lead funneling and brand consistency. Required Skills: - 3–5 years of PPC and SEO experience, preferably with tech startups or e‑commerce/marketplace brands. - Proven track record managing Google Ads campaigns and improving organic search performance. - Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. - Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive optimizations. - Creative copywriting and landing‑page optimization skills. - Agile mindset adaptable to rapid changes and tight deadlines. - Knowledge of retargeting, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization. Required Education & Certifications: - Google Ads Certification (or equivalent) required. - Minimum experience; formal education not specified but a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.
