**Job Title**
DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Support the end‑to‑end lifecycle of digital banking products by provisioning infrastructure, automating deployments, integrating observability, and ensuring production stability within a high‑confidentiality environment.
**Expectations**
Deliver reliable, scalable operations that meet SLAs, continuously improve automation, and collaborate closely with agile squads and product owners to translate technical needs into actionable backlog items.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Translate functional and technical product evolution into technical ops stories for the backlog.
- Provision and maintain infrastructure across all environments (cloud, on‑prem, hybrid).
- Integrate products into platform services: supervision, monitoring, backups, archives, and log management.
- Develop and maintain scripts, deployment templates, and infrastructure‑as‑code components.
- Implement observability indicators and embed production requirements into delivered applications.
- Contribute to and uphold operational reference materials and procedures.
- Execute production deployments, monitor SLAs, and report on status.
- Detect, analyze, and remediate operational incidents, performing root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
**Required Skills**
- Operating systems: Linux, Windows, VMware, MVS.
- Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker.
- CI/CD & configuration management: Git, GitLab CI, Ansible, Helm.
- Scripting: Bash/Shell, Python.
- Monitoring & observability: Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK stack.
- Networking fundamentals: F5, firewalls, proxies, DNS, tcpdump.
- Web stack: JVM/Java, JBoss/Tomcat, Nginx/Apache, WSO2 API Manager.
- Data & streaming: Redis, MySQL, DB2, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, MQSeries.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant certifications preferred: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Docker Certified Associate, CI/CD or cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
