**Job Title:**
Cybersecurity Engineering Manager (Remote)
**Role Summary:**
Lead and grow a team of software engineers responsible for designing, building, and operating a modular security platform that delivers security services (portal, SDK, CLI) to cloud and on‑premises applications. Drive platform scalability, reliability, and AI‑enabled capabilities while ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and business objectives.

- Own platform architecture, roadmap, and service level agreements.
- Deliver high‑quality, secure software following engineering best practices.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, DevOps, security, and compliance teams.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics (availability, latency, adoption, reuse).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage a team of engineers, fostering an inclusive culture and agile delivery.
- Define and execute the long‑term vision and roadmap for the security modular platform.
- Oversee design, implementation, and modernization of platform components, including AI, observability, and automation.
- Integrate existing security services (IAM, code scanning, secrets management, WAF, SIEM, etc.) into the platform.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
- Lead incident response, SLA management, and continuous improvement processes.
- Guide development of SDKs, CLIs, and CI/CD pipelines (Terraform IaC).
- Track and report platform metrics; identify risks and implement mitigations.
**Required Skills:**
- 8+ years software engineering experience; 3+ years in engineering leadership.
- Proven experience building and scaling modular security platforms.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency with modern backend languages (Node.js, Java, Go, Python).
- Hands‑on expertise in SecOps areas: IAM, data classification, static/dynamic code analysis, secrets/key management, WAF, SIEM, golden image hardening.
- Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, SDK/CLI development, and AI/ML integration for security tooling.
- Agile methodology fluency and strong collaboration/communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CCSK).
