Job Description

Job title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Engineer and enhance the SambaStack AI inference platform, focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, and new feature delivery. Expactations: - 4+ years of software engineering experience. - Proficiency in backend development with Python, Go, or Rust. - Design and implementation of unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing frameworks. - Strong understanding of Kubernetes and the Operator pattern. - Excellent problem‑solving, attention to detail, and collaborative teamwork skills. - Knowledge of software development best practices and coding standards. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and improve the stability, scalability, and performance of the AI inference platform. - Partner with ML engineers, product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust systems. - Develop and optimize components written in Python, Go, and Rust across a heterogeneous serving stack. - Build and refine testing frameworks and automation to support rapid, high‑quality releases. - Design new systems, components, and capabilities to address emerging challenges in AI inference. Required Skills: - Backend programming: Python, Go, or Rust. - Test framework design (unit, integration, end‑to‑end). - Kubernetes administration and Operator development. - Cloud‑native software architecture design. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Effective cross‑functional communication.
