Job Description

**Job Title:** Data Scientist **Role Summary:** Develop advanced data-driven solutions to enhance Locala’s advertising platform through machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI. **Expectations:** Apply technical expertise to design scalable, high-performance models for real-time decision-making and optimize campaign strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and improve decision-support systems for Locala’s products. - Translate business requirements into mathematical problems for prediction or optimization. - Implement machine learning and statistical solutions optimized for industrial constraints (large-scale data, computational costs, speed). - Establish rigorous evaluation protocols for model validation. - Collect, structure, and preprocess data to enhance model performance. - Document and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve implementation challenges. **Required Skills:** - 2–3+ years of experience in data science/machine learning. - Proficiency in Python; experience with Spark. - Knowledge of distributed systems (preferred). - Familiarity with generative AI, deep learning, clustering, or geospatial data (preferred). - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Science.
