Job Description

**Job Title** .NET Developer (Full‑Time) **Role Summary** Senior or experienced .NET developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high‑quality features for an e‑commerce platform. Work within a small cross‑functional team of two developers and a Product Owner, applying best coding practices, performance optimization, and continuous improvement. **Expectations** - Deliver robust, scalable solutions using .NET Core, C#, and front‑end frameworks. - Participate in code reviews, maintain code quality and consistency. - Continuously monitor and innovate development processes. - Collaborate closely with product and design stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, code, unit‑test, and deploy new functionalities in a CI/CD pipeline. 2. Refactor and optimise existing code to improve performance and scalability. 3. Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews to uphold technical standards. 4. Implement secure, maintainable data access using SQL Server. 5. Build front‑end components with React.js or Vue.js, integrating RESTful APIs. 6. Dockerise applications for streamlined deployment to cloud or on‑premise environments. 7. Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative solutions. **Required Skills** - Proficient in .NET Core (C#) with solid OO design knowledge. - Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework or similar ORM. - Front‑end proficiency in React.js or Vue.js. - Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong unit‑testing, debugging, and performance tuning skills. - Good communication and teamwork in a small, agile team. - Fluency in French and English (technical documentation). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are a plus but not mandatory.
