Job Description
Job title: Business Development Manager (BDM) Role Summary: Drive new client acquisition and revenue growth for a leading digital marketing partner. Responsibilities span prospecting, solution selling, closing deals, and managing post-sale client relationships. Expectations: Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets, maintain a high level of client satisfaction, and contribute to team goals through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Key Responsibilities: • Prospect new business via self‑sourced and provided leads • Conduct face‑to‑face or virtual consultations to assess client needs and present tailored digital marketing solutions • Negotiate and close contracts, achieving revenue growth • Manage existing accounts, ensuring a seamless experience for 12 months post‑sale • Analyze campaign data to identify upsell opportunities and boost client ROI • Collaborate with a high‑performing field sales team and internal stakeholders to deliver results Required Skills: • Proven field sales or telesales success, ideally with SaaS or solution selling background • Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and presentation skills (verbal & written) • Resilience, self‑motivation, and ability to handle objections • Data‑driven mindset for performance analysis • Full UK driving licence, no more than 6 points Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent commercial experience; relevant sales or marketing certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
