Job Description
Job title: Senior Network Automation Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain a robust network automation framework for a high‑performance datacenter environment. Convert network intent into reproducible, secure operations while integrating vendor APIs, ensuring observability, and driving continuous improvement. Expectations: - Deliver production‑grade automation using Python (primary), Go (preferred). - Apply advanced Ansible roles/collections, Git workflows, and semantic versioning. - Build telemetry pipelines (Prometheus, Grafana), logging, and tracing for automated remediation. - Mentor peers, enforce NetDevOps best practices, and maintain a source‑of‑truth (NetBox, Nautobot). - Stay informed on vendor/industry changes and recommend adoption pathways. Key Responsibilities: 1. Architect and evolve the network automation framework (templating, validation, change control). 2. Prototype idempotent automation for provisioning and operating data‑center fabrics at scale. 3. Integrate with vendor APIs/SDKs (e.g., Arista EOS, NetQ). 4. Capture network intent as code with peer review and quality gates. 5. Instrument networks with telemetry, alerts, SLOs, and automated remediation flows. 6. Coordinate with network and platform teams to translate designs into automated workflows. 7. Deliver regular incremental improvements through safe, tested changes. 8. Monitor industry developments and propose practical adoption strategies. Required Skills: - Advanced Python development (production tools/services). - Go proficiency (preferred for high‑performance tooling). - Strong Ansible expertise (roles, collections, YAML/JSON models). - Git version control (branching, PRs, semantic versioning). - Observability fundamentals (Prometheus, Grafana, logging, tracing). - Source‑of‑truth/CMDB systems (NetBox, Nautobot). - Linux networking (iptables, DHCP, DNS) and Bash scripting. - Workflow orchestration experience (Temporal or equivalent). Job title: DevOps Engineer Role Summary Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable GCP landing zones and associated services. Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to support rapid development and deployment cycles across multiple projects. Expectations - Deliver end‑to‑end GCP landing zone solutions that meet development team requirements. - Apply best practices in cloud security, networking, compute, storage, and monitoring. - Continuously improve processes and platform services for developer efficiency. - Operate within Agile frameworks and adhere to enterprise change control procedures.
