Job title: Senior Test Engineer
Role Summary: Lead quality engineering across Cyber Digital products, defining strategy, executing manual and automated tests, and ensuring secure, reliable releases within an agile, cross‑functional environment.
Expectations: Demonstrated senior-level leadership in test planning, execution, and process improvement; strong collaboration with developers, product owners, and DevOps; ability to influence quality standards and adopt shift‑left practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for new features, integrations, and the Cyber Digital portfolio.
• Ensure coverage across functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Lead manual and exploratory testing of web applications, APIs, and integrations.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage defect lifecycle: document, triage, verify fixes, and conduct regression testing.
• Coordinate test data management and environment readiness to align with delivery schedules.
• Act as a quality gatekeeper for releases, ensuring production deployments meet agreed acceptance criteria.
• Analyze production incidents and feedback to identify preventive measures and improve coverage.
• Champion performance, accessibility, and security testing practices, and use metrics to report quality and release readiness.
Required Skills:
• Senior-level experience in test engineering, QA leadership, or quality analysis for complex digital or technology programs.
• Proficiency in manual testing of web-based applications and APIs.
• Hands‑on expertise with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery environments with multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, lifecycle management, and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of secure coding and testing practices, especially for cloud or API‑driven environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and test‑driven/behaviour‑driven development integration.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to articulate issues and influence stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications:
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification (or equivalent).
• Relevant educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (not mandatory but preferred).
