Job Title: HR Business Partner (12-Month Contract)
Role Summary
Provide strategic human‑resources partnership to professional employee groups across Canada, driving leadership development, performance management, talent acquisition, change management, and employee engagement. Design, deliver, and refine HR programs (orientation, onboarding, performance reviews, compensation, skills development). Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, ensure legal compliance, conduct investigations, maintain HR records, and continuously improve HR processes in collaboration with Business Unit management.
Expectations
- Current professional designation (CHRP/CPHR).
- Minimum 8 years HR experience with at least 4 years in an HRBP function.
- Background in aviation, other federally regulated industries, or military.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR solutions across varied customer needs.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coach client groups and management on leadership, performance, talent, change, engagement, HR, and communications.
- Design, develop, and deliver programs (orientation, onboarding, performance management, engagement, compensation, annual leadership and skills reviews).
- Partner with Business Unit leadership to align HR strategy, identify recruitment needs, and resolve hiring bottlenecks.
- Own end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle for all positions within the Business Unit.
- Monitor and implement HR legislative requirements, conduct investigations, and maintain records.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement of HR and Business Unit functions by influencing strategies, policies, and methods.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Certifications
