**Job Title**
SVP, Chief AI Officer
**Role Summary**
Senior executive responsible for developing and executing the enterprise AI strategy, ensuring governance, responsible AI practices, and measurable business impact across the organization. Leads AI platform operations, drives adoption, optimizes economics, partners with external vendors, and aligns AI initiatives with overall technology architecture.
**Expectations**

* Build and scale a world‑class AI/ML platform and ecosystem.
* Establish and enforce comprehensive AI governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Define and execute enterprise AI strategy across internal productivity, customer offerings, and managed services.
2. Operate the AI platform layer – model management, tooling, data pipelines, guardrails, evaluation frameworks.
3. Own AI cost modeling, unit economics, and GPU/CPU capacity strategy in partnership with Finance and Operations.
4. Drive organization‑wide AI adoption via fluency programs, training, playbooks, and industry‑specific accelerators.
5. Set comprehensive responsible AI policies (bias mitigation, fairness, privacy, safety, incident response, explainability).
6. Monitor governance adherence and enforce policies organization‑wide.
7. Lead co‑innovation initiatives with technology partners and AI vendors.
8. Coordinate AI go‑to‑market strategy with Product and Sales teams.
9. Collaborate with CTO to align AI platform standards with core technology architecture; co‑lead architecture and model governance councils.
10. Report on AI‑attributed revenue, pipeline contribution, productivity gains, model performance, platform reliability, cost per inference, and compliance metrics.
**Required Skills**
* Deep expertise in AI/ML, large language models, generative AI, and MLOps.
* Strong understanding of AI platform architecture, model lifecycle management, and cloud infrastructure.
* Knowledge of AI safety, bias mitigation, explainability, and responsible AI frameworks.
* Familiarity with data engineering, modern software development practices, and regulatory landscape.
* Strategic thinking with business acumen for go‑to‑market and monetization.
* Exceptional communication, influence, and change‑management skills.
* Experience building and leading multidisciplinary AI teams and partner ecosystems.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
* Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field highly preferred.
* MBA or equivalent business education a plus.
* 12+ years of progressive technology and AI leadership with at least 5 years in senior executive roles.
* Proven track record scaling AI/ML platforms, delivering measurable business outcomes, establishing governance frameworks, and managing large‑scale AI infrastructure.
