Key Responsibilities: - Prototype PINN models using the PhysicsNeMo framework. - Benchmark PINNs against reference solvers (e.g., Ansys, Abaqus) on accuracy, acceleration, robustness, and parameter sensitivity. - Analyze and document results, providing actionable insights for engineering workflow. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate findings into design processes. **Job Title**: Intern / Engineer in Flowline Design **Role Summary**: Develop an innovative methodology to validate parameters in smoothing algorithms for underwater pipeline inspection data, applying mechanical engineering principles and simulation techniques. **Expectations**: - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computational Mechanics or equivalent, with specialization in numerical methods for pipeline engineering. - Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib) and finite element analysis (e.g., Abaqus). - Strong foundation in data smoothing techniques (e.g., Savitzky-Golay, B-Splines, moving averages) and mechanical theory (Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, deformation energy). - Ability to translate theoretical concepts into implementable workflows and derive actionable recommendations for engineering teams. **Key Responsibilities**: 1.
