Job Description
**Job Title:** Payments Manager (EMEA) **Role Summary:** Expand adoption of blockchain-powered payments infrastructure across EMEA by establishing partnerships with payment service providers (PSPs), fintechs, and enterprise clients. Bridge traditional finance and onchain commerce through strategic partnerships and ecosystem growth. **Expactations:** - 5+ years in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure, preferably in partnerships, BD, or product commercialization - In-depth knowledge of EMEA payments ecosystems, including SEPA, open banking, and regulatory frameworks - Proven success in building and closing partnerships with PSPs, acquirers, or enterprise fintechs - Strong network across EMEA hubs (London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Dubai) - Experience engaging both traditional finance institutions and Web3 stakeholders **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead strategic partnerships with PSPs, acquirers, custodians, and fiat providers to drive adoption of Reown’s payments stack - Negotiate and execute commercial agreements, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Legal teams - Drive market awareness and adoption for Pay-with-Wallet, Pay-with-Exchange, AppKit integrations, and on/off-ramp solutions - Represent WalletConnect at fintech/crypto events, conferences, and roundtables to promote onchain innovation - Partner with internal teams to design pilot programs, frameworks, and co-marketing initiatives with key stakeholders - Act as regional expert to align product development with customer feedback and regional requirements (payouts, checkouts, POS, deposits, funding flows) - Monitor EMEA market trends, regulatory changes, and consumer behavior to inform strategy and reporting **Required Skills:** - Strategic partnership management and deal negotiation - Go-to-market strategy development for payments technologies - Market intelligence analysis (regulatory, competitive trends) - Cross-functional collaboration (Product, Engineering, Marketing) - Stakeholder engagement across traditional finance and emerging Web3 ecosystems - Excellent communication to articulate technical product value to diverse audiences - Multitasking in fast-paced environments with global team coordination - Fluency in English; regional languages (e.g., French, German, Arabic) preferred **Required Education & Certifications:** - Not specified.
