**Job Title** Robotics Software Engineer (H/F) **Role Summary** Design, develop, test, and maintain autonomous navigation software for defense‑grade robotic platforms using C++ and ROS 2. Ensure seamless integration with localisation, trajectory, object detection, and traversability modules, and deliver production‑ready, containerised code. **Expectations** * Deliver high‑quality, real‑time C++ code that meets technical specifications. * Ensure code integrates flawlessly with existing system components. * Deploy and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines. * Use containerisation tools to package software for the target environment. * Validate functionality through rigorous testing and documentation. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop ROS 2‑based C++ modules for autonomous action execution. - Implement localisation and trajectory control algorithms. - Create object detection and tracking routines. - Build traversability analysis functions. - Integrate and deploy code within the broader system architecture. - Containerise applications respecting system constraints. - Conduct integration testing, validation, and troubleshooting. **Required Skills** - Proficient in C++ (real‑time programming). - Deep knowledge of ROS 2 and its ecosystem. - Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.). - Strong version‑control proficiency (GitLab). - Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Excellent written and spoken English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. - Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience in robotics (excluding internships). ---
