Job Description

**Job Title:** Sales Operations Specialist **Role Summary:** Supports daily sales operations for assigned retail accounts by managing demand planning, inventory, purchase orders, and performance reporting. Collaborates with sales, demand planning, and supply chain teams to maintain forecasts, analyze trends, and ensure accurate trade‑spend tracking. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate weekly and monthly business reports highlighting risks and opportunities. - Maintain up‑to‑date forecasts, pricing, and new‑item data in internal systems. - Coordinate order timing and availability with internal partners. - Participate in regular customer and internal planning calls. - Provide clear communication and cross‑functional support while meeting deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute demand planning, inventory tracking, and purchase‑order processes. - Produce and maintain weekly business performance reports. - Monitor promotional performance and update forecasting tools. - Support sales, demand planning, and supply‑chain teams in forecasting and order management. - Update internal systems with forecasts, pricing changes, and new product information. - Join weekly replenishment/planning calls with customers to review results. - Track trade spend and ensure promotional plans are reflected in forecasts. - Assist in preparing customer presentations, business reviews, and regular reporting. - Develop knowledge of kitchen and floor‑care categories, including products, consumers, and competitors. - Compile monthly performance summaries and basic sales/operational analyses. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset; proficiency in Excel. - Ability to learn and operate new software/tools quickly. - Excellent attention to detail and multitasking in deadline‑focused environments. - Effective written and verbal communication; collaborative across functions. - Basic understanding of retail/e‑commerce environments (preferred). - Willingness to travel up to ~20% for meetings/events. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field) or equivalent experience. - 1–3 years of relevant experience in business analytics, supply chain, sales operations, or finance (including internships or co‑ops). - No specific certifications required.
