Job title: Product Manager
Role Summary: Own end‑to‑end product strategy and execution for a flagship financial workflow product, transforming complex accounting processes into intuitive, AI‑augmented user experiences. Lead cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, design, and data teams to ship high‑impact features fast, establish clear priorities and metrics, and deliver measurable improvements for finance leaders.

– Ship key features that streamline and accelerate finance operations, achieving adoption and efficiency targets.
– Embed metric‑driven decision making across product areas.

Key Responsibilities:
– Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the core product module.
– Translate ambiguous financial workflow challenges into structured product requirements, priorities, and success metrics.
– Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to iteratively build, test, and launch AI‑powered features.
– Engage directly with CFOs, controllers, and finance teams to surface pain points, gather insights, and shape automation solutions.
– Make data‑backed decisions that balance velocity, precision, and business impact.
– Champion a culture of rapid experimentation and customer‑centric delivery.
– Report progress and product outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
Required Skills:
– 3–5 years of experience leading product, consulting, or finance operations in early‑stage or high‑growth settings.
– Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to cut through complexity.
– Clear, concise communication and effective written documentation skills.
– Proven bias for action: preference for testing and iteration over prolonged theorizing.
– Comfortable operating between spreadsheets, sketches, and detailed specs.
– Experience working with finance, automation, or AI products highly desirable.
– Technical fluency to discuss APIs, workflows, and data pipelines with engineering stakeholders.
– Ability to build high‑output, cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Product management or financial certifications (e.g., Pragmatic, AIPMM, Certified Financial Planner) are a plus but not mandatory.
