**Job Title:** Infrastructure Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, deploy, manage, and optimize Microsoft Azure platforms and hybrid on‑premises solutions for a managed services environment, ensuring ongoing performance, security, and lifecycle maintenance.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality infrastructure solutions in a fast‑paced, client‑centric setting.
- Collaborate effectively across project teams and maintain up‑to‑date Microsoft certifications.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect, provision, and maintain Azure environments (VMware, Hyper‑V, Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services).
- Configure and troubleshoot networking components (switching, routing, VPNs, firewalls).
- Perform performance tuning, patch management, and lifecycle oversight for all infrastructure assets.
- Monitor system health, implement backup & disaster recovery strategies, and respond to incidents.
- Work with project managers to meet delivery milestones and client specifications.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Hands‑on experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, networking, and security.
- Strong networking fundamentals (switching, routing, subnetting, VPN).
- Scripting/automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and basic IaC (ARM, Terraform).
- Troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and effective communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Microsoft Azure certifications: AZ‑900 (Fundamentals), AZ‑104 (Administrator), AZ‑800 (Hybrid Administrator) or equivalent.
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in IT infrastructure or related field.
