Job Description
Job Title: Systems Administrator Role Summary: Manage, maintain, and optimize core business software—Time & Attendance, Incident Management, and Accounting systems—to ensure reliability, security, and efficient operation. Provide technical support, coordinate with vendors, and implement improvements in a hybrid work setting. Expactations: • Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and security checks on key software systems. • Resolve user‐reported issues quickly and configure systems to meet operational needs. • Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and software vendors to ensure smooth integrations and performance. • Monitor system trends, recommend optimizations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and data security best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular software updates, patches, and configuration management. - Troubleshoot and resolve software‑related incidents. - Configure system settings for optimal functionality. - Coordinate with vendors for system integrations and support. - Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and propose improvements. - Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and procedures. - Enforce security protocols and data protection compliance. Required Skills: - Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities. - Hands‑on experience with Time & Attendance, Accounting, or Incident Management systems. - Knowledge of system administration best practices and data security. - Ability to create and interpret Power BI dashboards (preferred). - Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent. - DBS disclosure (UK) and eligibility to work in the UK.
