**Job Title**
Machine Learning Developer
**Role Summary**
Develop, train, and deploy production-scale AI/ML models focused on document AI, OCR, and image‑text classification. Lead end‑to‑end lifecycle from data ingestion to production deployment while ensuring security, resilience, and continuous improvement.
**Expectations**
• Own design, implementation, and performance tuning of AI/ML solutions for content extraction and classification.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Maintain high code quality, secure APIs, and platform stability.
• Deliver incremental improvements in a fast‑paced, high‑cadence environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Build and fine‑tune NLP and computer‑vision models (e.g., OCR, LLMs, image‑text classification) using modern frameworks.
2. Develop Python‑based MLOCR components, including data preprocessing, model inference, and post‑processing pipelines.
3. Design and implement end‑to‑end production workflows: training, monitoring, versioning, and rollback.
4. Implement secure, scalable APIs and micro‑services for model deployment.
5. Conduct unit/integration testing, performance benchmarking, and model validation against business KPIs.
6. Work closely with product managers to deliver iterative releases and gather feedback.
7. Configure and maintain Azure resources, container orchestration (AKS), and CI/CD pipelines.
8. Document architecture, code, and configuration for maintainability and knowledge transfer.
**Required Skills**
- **Core:** Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, OCR, Generative AI, image‑text extraction.
- **Python** (>=3.8), TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, spaCy, OpenCV, regex.
- **Deployment:** Azure (VMs, AKS, DevOps), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps).
- **Security:** Code review, secure API design, threat modeling, resilience practices.
- **Experience:** Proven production delivery of ML models, preferably in a document‑AI or AIOps context.
- **Data:** PostgreSQL optional; experience with data preparation and feature engineering.
**Nice to Have**
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Orchestrator, RPA tools (Microsoft Power Automate).
- Reinforcement learning, LLMOps, GenAI, or AIOPS practical projects.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline.
- Certifications in Azure Cloud Specialist, Machine Learning Engineer, or equivalent are a plus.
