Job Description: Job Title: Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable AWS infrastructure with IaC; enforce SRE principles and improve observability, automation, and incident response across multi‑region environments. Expectations: - Partner with DevOps and development teams to align reliability goals with product releases. - Mentor junior SREs and foster a culture of continuous improvement. - Ensure systems meet defined SLOs/SLIs and cost‑efficiency targets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Create and maintain IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) for AWS resources. 2. Design and implement multi‑region, auto‑scaling architectures; manage capacity and cost. 3. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines; automate deployments of Docker/Kubernetes workloads. 4. Configure and maintain observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, DataDog) to monitor health, performance, and error budgets. 5. Conduct incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes. 6. Enforce security hardening across infrastructure; remediate vulnerabilities. 7. Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and operations. Required Skills: - 8+ years of AWS experience in production environments. - Proficient with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible. - Deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration. - Strong familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, DataDog). - Solid grasp of SRE concepts: SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, incident lifecycle. - Experience with CI/CD automation and version control (Git). - Excellent troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis abilities. - Strong communication and mentorship skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (preferred). - AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) highly desirable. ---
