**Job Title:**
Account Executive III
**Role Summary:**
Lead enterprise‑level sales of data security solutions, building executive relationships, generating a dynamic pipeline, closing high‑value opportunities, and expanding existing accounts across the cybersecurity market.
**Expectations:**
- Achieve or exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets and quota.
- Grow the enterprise customer base and expand cross‑sell opportunities.
- Maintain accurate, inspection‑ready forecasts and activity hygiene in Salesforce.
- Leverage channel partners to broaden market reach and accelerate deal closure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Identify, engage, and nurture executive decision makers (CISO, CIO, IT security, compliance).
- Develop and execute a territory plan that optimizes revenue from both new prospects and existing clients.
- Generate, progress, and close net‑new opportunities while expanding usage within current customers for data discovery, classification, access governance, and audit use cases.
- Map customer risk, compliance, and cost‑reduction priorities to product capabilities and articulate quantifiable business impact.
- Lead pricing, contract, and product positioning negotiations, ensuring alignment with on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Partner with CS and pre‑sales engineers to guarantee solution fit and advocate for adoption, renewal, and expansion.
- Collaborate with marketing and customer experience teams to deliver measurable security outcomes.
- Execute joint‑account strategies with resellers, systems integrators, and distributors, driving influence and coverage.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and competitive positioning.
- Prepare and deliver sales performance reports and progress updates to internal stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity or IT security solutions, managing both new logos and account expansion.
- Proficiency in consultative, multi‑threaded selling and value articulation to technical and executive audiences.
- Mastery of MEDDICC/MEDDPICC or equivalent qualification frameworks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Salesforce expertise with disciplined forecasting and pipeline management.
- Experience in channel co‑selling and partner influence for enterprise deals.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of successful enterprise sales in cybersecurity (no specific certifications required, though knowledge of data classification, access management, audit, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS is preferred).
