**Job Title**
Security & Fire Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and supervise security and fire teams across multiple client sites. Manage daily operations, performance, and compliance with safety standards. Coordinate with operations, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high‑quality security and fire protection services.

- Demonstrate strong leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills.
- Be able to deputise for the Operations Manager and respond to incidents outside normal hours.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise fire and security officers, ensuring training, discipline, and performance meet company KPIs.
- Plan, schedule, and review inspections, maintenance, and testing of fire equipment.
- Lead special operations: vehicle checks, ID checks, surveillance, and bag checks; audit compliance.
- Act as liaison between clients, engineers, and internal teams on physical, electronic, and security matters.
- Manage risk assessments, assignment instructions, and security documentation.
- Oversee training records, conduct monthly care visits, and annual performance reviews.
- Record and investigate incidents, ensure proper reporting to clients.
- Monitor and report on KPI performance, adjust resource allocation, and provide recommendations.
- Chair and attend staff investigations, support special operations investigations.
- Deputise for the G4S Operations Manager when required.
**Required Skills**
- Proven leadership and staff management experience in security/fire environments.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proficiency in audit, risk assessment, and compliance processes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including after‑hours and ad‑hoc shifts.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Active Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence.
- First Aid at Work qualification (or equivalent, including emergency first aid).
- Relevant fire‑fighting or security management training preferred (e.g., Diploma in Security Management, Fire Safety).
