Job Title: Salesforce Administrator
Role Summary
The Salesforce Administrator manages and optimises the Salesforce CRM platform for a technology consulting firm. The role focuses on configuration, integration, data quality, user support, and process improvement to enable business teams’ productivity and data-driven decision-making.

- Deliver reliable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals.
- Maintain system integrity, perform regular data hygiene, and support compliance with privacy and security standards.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Provide timely troubleshooting, training, and documentation for end‑users and administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, workflow rules, Process Builder, Flow, and approval processes.
- Design, develop, and deploy Lightning components and visualforce pages as required.
- Manage data imports, exports, and migrations using Data Loader, MuleSoft, or other ETL tools; cleanse and enrich data to ensure quality and consistency.
- Implement and monitor data security models (profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, field‑level security).
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, monitor performance metrics, and ensure system uptime.
- Document customizations, integrations, and best‑practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and project teams on system integrations (e.g., API, middleware, third‑party applications).
- Provide end‑user training, support, and best‑practice documentation to increase adoption.
- Continuously evaluate product releases and implement new Salesforce features that add value to the business.
Required Skills
- Hands‑on Salesforce administration experience (minimum 2‑3 years).
- Proficiency with Salesforce configuration tools (Setup, Object Manager, Flow, Process Builder, Workflow).
- Experience with data management tools (Data Loader, MuleSoft, Jitterbit, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, data quality, and data governance in Salesforce.
- Ability to write SOQL/ SOSL queries and basic Apex triggers if required.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to train users and produce clear documentation.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Preferred: Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Integration Architecture & Design certifications.
