Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Field Services Engineer **Role Summary:** Provide in‑person support and installation services for end‑user computing environments and customer‑side IT infrastructure. Resolve incidents, service requests, and proactive checks following defined SLAs and ITIL processes. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and collaborate with project and resolver teams. **Expectations:** - Deliver field services that meet or exceed defined KPIs and SLAs. - Maintain accurate documentation in the knowledge base. - Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and leadership abilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripheral devices in accordance with company standards. - Conduct on‑site installations, desk moves, upgrades, changes, and planned maintenance. - Provide reactive support for on‑premises network, server, and storage equipment, acting as remote hands for resolver groups. - Resolve incidents and service requests, perform proactive checks and event triage, and hand off to appropriate third‑party or resolver teams when required. - Serve as a single‑point‑of‑contact for assigned customers, attending meetings and coordinating work activities. - Update and maintain the Zenzero knowledge base and field services process documentation. **Required Skills:** - Experience with managed services (MSP/MSSP). - Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Autopilot. - Familiarity with ITSM tools (ConnectWise Manage, ServiceNow, Remedy, Autotask). - Understanding of ITIL service management, SLAs, incident and change management. - Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation) preferred.
