**Job title** Sustainability Data Advisor **Role Summary** Provide trusted, advisory services to top‑tier corporate sustainability teams, guiding them on accurate measurement of carbon and non‑carbon footprints. Convert data into actionable insights, support emissions verification, and accelerate customer success with the Watershed platform. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to innovate measurement solutions. **Expectations** - 4–5 years in consulting, solutions engineering, or a customer‑facing role. - 1–2 years in sustainability, GHG accounting, or ESG reporting. - Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non‑technical audiences. - Strong analytical mindset, data‑driven, detail‑oriented. - Self‑starter: learns quickly, thrives in ambiguity, organized, efficient. - Passionate about climate action and equipped to work in a fast‑paced startup environment. - Fluent in English; additional proficiency in French, German, or Spanish considered a plus. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead measurement sessions and advisory engagements with client sustainability teams. - Advise on scoping, methodology selection, and comparisons for both carbon and non‑carbon footprints. - Set up and optimize emissions measurement frameworks to meet client goals and regulatory requirements (CSRD, etc.). - Serve as a partner in emissions verification and audit‑readiness preparation. - Drive customer success by ensuring rapid, value‑derived adoption of the Watershed platform. - Collaborate with science, engineering, and product teams to design and roll out innovative measurement solutions. **Required Skills** - Consulting or solutions‑engineering background with a customer‑focus. - Proficiency in greenhouse gas accounting, ESG reporting, and sustainability measurement tools. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, comfortable with complex data sets. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Highly organized, systematic, and efficient workflow. - Meticulous attention to detail and quality. - Adaptive to ambiguity and high‑volume environments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in environmental science, engineering, environmental policy, or a related field. - Professional certification in GHG accounting or ESG reporting (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) is preferred.
