Job Description: Job title: SOC DevOps Specialist Role Summary: Support and enhance SOC operations by developing, deploying, and maintaining automation playbooks, monitoring SIEM/SOAR platforms, and troubleshooting security incidents. Expectations: Deliver reliable SOC tooling, enable rapid incident response, and continuously improve automation and detection capabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and test SOAR automation playbooks, including release management. • Install, configure, and maintain FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR, and related SOC infrastructure. • Monitor platform availability and security posture; troubleshoot and resolve product issues with Dev/QA teams. • Manage staging environments and perform required validation tests. • Create PostgreSQL queries and reports for triage, hunting, and reporting. • Support threat detection development, testing, and deployment. Required Skills: • Experience with SIEM/SOAR, preferably FortiSOAR. • Strong Linux, Bash, and Python scripting; API integration. • Familiarity with configuration, change, and incident management processes. • Knowledge of multi‑tenant architecture and private cloud environments. • Experience with PostgreSQL and reporting tools. • Understanding of SOC operations, incident response lifecycle, and threat intelligence. • Network fundamentals and security product knowledge (firewalls, EDR, NDR). • SDLC and CI/CD pipeline familiarity (bonus). • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GSEC, GCIA, GCFA, etc.).
