Job title: Cybersecurity Trainee (H/F)
Role Summary:
Assist in building a comprehensive cybersecurity posture in a large enterprise setting. Support Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) activities, manage security risk assessments, monitor AI-related projects, contribute to business continuity plans, and aid in internal security awareness and communications. Gain practical experience across policy enforcement, incident handling, tool selection, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Expectations:
- Current university student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Information Security, or Cyber Defense.
- Proactive learner, driven to apply theoretical knowledge in real‑world projects.
- Able to work cooperatively in multicultural teams and communicate effectively in English.
- Curious, organized, and logical with a strong sense of accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and support the implementation of security policies to ensure compliance across the organization.
- Participate in internal and supplier‑based risk assessments; identify, document, and track risk mitigation actions.
- Maintain and update GRC documentation and monitoring tools; leverage digital solutions and AI for gap analysis.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of AI projects, validating risk registers and preparing briefing materials for decision‑makers.
- Update business continuity and incident response plans; coordinate with operational teams to ensure rapid contact of incident stakeholders.
- Assist in incident management processes: triage, analysis, resolution support, and post‑incident reporting.
- Develop and deliver engaging security awareness materials—including games, interactive content, and concise messaging—to promote a security‑aware culture.
- Optionally support technical activities such as selecting SOC tools, evaluating service providers, and applying system hardening best practices.
Required Skills:
- Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and GRC frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI security considerations and risk mitigation.
- Ability to use digital tools for documentation, monitoring, and basic data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Team‑oriented, organized, analytical mindset, and eagerness to learn.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Current enrollment or recent completion of a Master’s (M1) program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Security Systems (SSI), or Cyber Defense.
- No mandatory certifications required, but knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) or relevant coursework preferred.
