Job title: Industrial Process & Equipment Design Intern (M/F) Role Summary: Assist in building a multi-disciplinary cost estimation tool for industrial projects, structuring technical‑economic data, and collaborating with engineering, purchasing, and project management teams. Expactations: Complete a 6‑month internship or apprenticeship starting September 2025, contribute to database maintenance, cost updating with inflation indices, and support project planning and reporting. Key Responsibilities - Create and maintain a technical‑economic database for chemical plant equipment. - Update and validate existing cost information, incorporating inflation and price indices. - Collaborate with project managers, process engineers, equipment technicians, and purchasing. - Support cost estimation for new installations or optimisation of existing equipment (reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, columns, etc.). - Assist in scheduling and tracking the design office workload. - Prepare and present progress reports to senior engineers. Required Skills - Advanced Excel skills and experience with data‑management tools. - Basic knowledge of chemical/process equipment and related civil/structural, piping, electrical, and instrumentation elements. - Ability to translate engineering specifications into cost data. - Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills. - Fluency in French and English (written and spoken). Support Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) activities, manage security risk assessments, monitor AI-related projects, contribute to business continuity plans, and aid in internal security awareness and communications. Gain practical experience across policy enforcement, incident handling, tool selection, and cross‑functional collaboration.
