Job Title: Solution Architect
Role Summary:
Lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end eCommerce and digital transformation solutions for large enterprise clients. Own architecture definition, documentation, and communication across business, stakeholder, and delivery teams. Ensure architectural vision is translated into production-ready deployments and align solutions with clients’ digital strategy.
Expectations:
- Deliver scalable, transactional architectures for global brands across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Influence technical strategy, justify decisions, and balance business and technical constraints.
- Maintain continuous engagement with client stakeholders and internal delivery leaders to drive solution adoption and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and present solution architecture for large‑scale digital transformation programs.
- Conduct design workshops, translate business requirements into technical designs, and lead stakeholder discussions.
- Collaborate with cloud, application, and technical leads to transition architectural designs into builds.
- Apply best‑practice patterns for distributed eCommerce, including cloud‑native, micro‑service, and API‑first approaches.
- Deliver proof‑of‑concepts for emerging technologies and contribute to common solution patterns.
- Monitor and communicate architecture health, risk, and governance throughout program lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify Plus) and ancillary systems (OMS, PIM, DAM).
- Proficient with front‑end (React, Next.js, GraphQL) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Proven experience in solution ownership, program-level transformation, and integration strategy.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and documentation abilities.
- Experience leading design workshops and resonating technical vision to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to evaluate and justify architecture decisions under constraints of cost, performance, security, and compliance.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Salesforce B2B Commerce or B2C Commerce) are a plus.
