Commercial Director – Italy
**Role Summary**
Lead the commercial strategy and operations for DigiTrips in Italy, driving revenue growth, partnership acquisition, and market expansion. Oversee local sales teams, forge strategic alliances, and represent the company within the Italian travel and technology ecosystem. Collaborate with central functions to align objectives and deliver on key performance metrics.
**Expectations**
- 10+ years of senior commercial or business‑development experience in travel, hospitality, or loyalty sectors.
- Deep knowledge of the Italian travel distribution landscape and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of negotiating complex agreements and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Fluency in Italian and English; additional European languages preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial acumen, and ability to balance short‑term results with long‑term strategy.
- Results‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and execute Italy’s commercial strategy, setting market priorities and revenue targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop the in‑market sales team, embedding company sales methodology and processes.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure new partnerships across travel & hospitality, loyalty & benefits, financial services, and e‑commerce.
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline, accurate reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Deliver on revenue, margin, partner acquisition, retention, and diversification KPIs.
- Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to guide product and marketing strategy.
- Represent DigiTrips externally with clients, partners, and industry associations to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure alignment with central functions and contribute to overall regional growth.
