Job Description
**Job Title:** Supply Chain Intern (Male/Female) **Role Summary:** Supply Chain Intern supports the Supply Planning team for a global glass packaging manufacturer. The role focuses on sales forecasting, production planning across 9 European plants, inventory control, and continuous improvement of the SAP information system. **Expectations:** * Participate in end‑to‑end supply chain processes: demand planning, capacity scheduling, stock management. * Deliver accurate production schedules and reports within given production and commercial constraints. * Contribute to SAP system optimization and user support. * Work under the guidance of the Supply Chain Leader for France/Spain. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Plan production for all facilities ensuring alignment with industrial and commercial constraints. 2. Maintain and monitor inventory levels to meet service levels without overstocking. 3. Assist in scheduling for additional plants during peak periods. 4. Support the SAP Key User with data analysis, system improvement, and user training. 5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, sales, logistics, finance). **Required Skills:** * Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VBA basics). * Experience or familiarity with SAP (preferable). * Excellent written and verbal communication in English (advanced level). * Proactive, autonomous, teamwork orientated, and effective interpersonal skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (ongoing studies acceptable). * Minimum of 6‑month internship period starting in April.
