Job title: Corporate Platforms ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary:
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, EA, DevOps, SecOps, SPM) in a highly regulated financial services environment. Deliver custom applications, workflows, integrations, and reusable components while prioritizing configuration over customization, ensuring audit trails, separation of duties, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code in a rapid, Agile setting.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert for multiple ServiceNow modules, providing technical guidance and architectural decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement, enforce coding standards, and champion best practices across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations for all major ServiceNow modules.
- Build and sustain cross‑module integrations (ITOM, EA, GRC, others) and external APIs, ensuring data consistency and process alignment.
- Conduct impact assessments and minimize technical debt, advocating for configuration over customization.
- Implement audit trails, separation of duties, and access controls to meet regulatory requirements.
- Promote use of ServiceNow ecosystem features (AI tools, Now Assist, AI Control Tower) and share industry trends.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of proven ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules.
- Expertise in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, EA, DevOps, SecOps, SPM.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and independent work capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, SDLC, and software implementation cycles.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- ServiceNow certifications: Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified System Administrator (CSA), and/or Certified Implementation Specialist.
