Job Description
**Job title:** DtoC Senior Merchandise Planner (M/F) **Role Summary:** Lead the development and execution of DIM’s direct-to-consumer merchandise strategy, optimizing assortment, inventory, and profitability across all product lines. Collaborate with design, buying, marketing, and visual merchandising teams to align collections with brand values and market trends, while driving continuous improvement of planning processes and tools. **Expectations:** - Deliver strategic assortment plans that meet growth targets and balance volume, variety, and profit. - Maintain rigorous analysis of sales, margins, and KPIs to adjust collections in real‑time. - Manage seasonal buying plans, monitor variances, and identify growth levers. - Champion brand consistency and product knowledge across retail channels. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Develop and refine merchandising plans aligned with growth objectives, market trends, and brand positioning. 2. Build and manage SKU-level product and assortment plans, ensuring alignment with financial targets. 3. Track and analyze sales, margin, and key performance indicators; adjust collections accordingly. 4. Produce detailed sales trend reports to support product and assortment decisions. 5. Create, monitor, and optimize the seasonal buying plan; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions. 6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of merchandising processes, tools, and best practices. 7. Collaborate with visual merchandising to translate product plans into effective in‑store presentations. 8. Ensure all offerings reflect the brand’s core values, vision, and customer expectations. **Required Skills:** - 5–10 years of merchandise planning experience in fashion or lingerie, preferably DtoC/omnichannel. - Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP/PLM systems, and sales forecasting tools. - Strong analytical and business acumen with a focus on data‑driven assortment optimisation. - Leadership, communication, and project management skills; ability to influence cross‑functional teams. - Adaptability to multicultural, matrixed environments and openness to new technologies. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Economics, or related field. - Certifications in data analysis, supply chain or merchandising (e.g., Certified Merchandise Planner, Six Sigma Green Belt) are advantageous.
